About
The Pod Małą Rawką hut is a small wooden PTTK hut inside Bieszczady National Park, at the foot of Mała Rawka, at 930 m. It lies on the green trail from Przełęcz Wyżniańska to Mała and Wielka Rawka, 900 m from the road between Ustrzyki Górne and Wetlina.
It opened in 1979 and has operated without a break ever since, all year round. It is a two-storey wooden building with no access for private cars. There are 27 beds in rooms for two, three or more, and on the ground floor a dining room with a terrace and a buffet serving hot meals. Guests usually sleep in their own sleeping bags; when beds run out, floor space is offered, so a sleeping mat is useful. Tents may be pitched beside the hut.
The green trail continues up Mała Rawka and over Dział to Wetlina, and the other way via Przełęcz Wyżniańska to Połonina Caryńska. Mountain rescue: 985 or +48 601 100 300.
