Lesser Fatra range, about 700 m above sea level. None of our site’s trails is close yet — follow the local waymarks and a map.

Staffed huts have a kitchen and beds, while unstaffed huts, shelters and bivouac sites offer only a roof or a place for a tent — know which one you are heading for.
Popular huts get busy in season and at weekends — check on their website or by phone that they are open.
In national parks you may sleep out and light fires only in designated places — follow the local rules.
Mountain rescue: 18 300 (Horská záchranná služba); emergency number 112.
