A 15-minute walk from the Lambert family homestead leads to the 17th-century palace of the Betlen family. The Berehove railway station is located 1 km from the property, from where you can reach the city of Mukachevo.

In ancient times, when knights fought for honor and went on feats for the sake of their beloved women, when old people told stories of glorious campaigns and heroic people on long winter evenings, a young prince named Lambert wondered how the lives of those esteemed people turned out, whether they found their happiness?

Gathering for a journey, Lambert firmly decided that he would not return home until he found happiness, even if he had to walk to the very edge of the earth. He traveled from village to village, talking to people, but no one could help him, and only the old people smiled and sincerely wished him good luck.

Lambert did not understand why those people smiled and why happiness had to be sought for so long. Reflecting on this, he did not notice how night fell, and he had to spend the night in the field under the stars, listening to the song of crickets.

He dreamed of joy, comfort, and warmth, as if he were at home, he dreamed of a pleasant, intoxicating aroma and a new, previously unknown feeling. When Lambert woke up, he saw that he had fallen asleep in a lavender field. So that was the smell I dreamed of? - he guessed. Nearby, someone was singing, and it seemed that a stream was murmuring, such a pleasant voice... He got up and saw a girl in a simple linen dress. She was picking flowers, and every time she bent down, the lace of her dress played with the lavender flowers. Her blonde curls fell on her chest, and her cheeks lightly flushed from the morning sun. Their eyes met, the girl stopped singing, and Lambert felt that same feeling he had dreamed of at night. Thus, they fell in love with each other!

Lambert understood why the old people smiled in response to the young man's naive questions. Happiness does not hide at the edge of the earth; we always carry it in our hearts and can give it to people.

The prince decided to build a homestead and settle where he found his happiness. He invited craftsmen, builders, and merchants. Happiness overflowed the hearts of the lovers so much that they wanted to build an entire city for happy people. Thus, in 1063, a city named Lamperthaza appeared. Even during the construction of the city, people discovered thermal springs that erupted right from the ground. After exhausting days of building the city, people enjoyed bathing in the springs, and fatigue was nowhere to be found. Women became more charming, and men felt a new surge of strength. Who knows, maybe that water gives such energy, or maybe it happened because they were all happy.
