Kolomyia Town Hall is the town hall in the city of Kolomyia, Ivano-Frankivsk region. The Kolomyia Town Hall was built between 1875 and 1877 as a building for the city's magistrate (the old wooden town hall once stood on a different site, which burned down in 1865). The building is three-story, U-shaped, and built in the Neo-Renaissance style. The northern façade faces the beginning of Hrushevskoho Avenue, and the eastern façade faces Weigel Street.
The new three-story stone town hall was built on the site of a former monastery in the Neo-Renaissance style. Today the height of the town hall is 33 meters. The town hall tower is a corner tower (similar to the Yavoriv town hall), which is quite unusual for this type of building. The tower was built in 1948, square in plan, with a simple decor. The tower bears the coat of arms of Kolomyia, and above it is a chiming clock with three dials (approx. 1 m in diameter). Even higher, at the level of the sixth floor, there is a balcony for walking around the tower - it was once used to survey the city for quicker warning in case of fire (in the past, the tower balcony served as an observation post for firefighters on round-the-clock duty).
The town hall in Kolomyia has an unusual location - on a corner, which is the only one in Ukraine.
Until 1944, the town hall housed the magistrate and the city government. After World War II, the building was occupied by a medical school until 1990. After the declaration of Ukraine's independence, the town hall regained its original status, and the Kolomyia City Council meets here again.
