The Nimchych Pass, 586.3 meters above sea level, is located between the Vyzhnytsia (Vyzhenka village) and Putyla (Pidzakharychi village) districts of Chernivtsi region. Until recently, this road pass was the main route from Vyzhnytsia to Pidzakharychi and further to the following villages of the Cheremosh valley. It was only at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries that the main traffic began to take place on the road along the river bank. To get to the pass, you need to drive all the way through the village of Vyzhenka, passing the turn to the Luzhky tract. Then a wide gravel road dives into the forest and climbs up to the saddle of the ridge in several serpentine passes. The descent into the Cheremosh valley, to the village of Pidzakharychi, is very short and steep, with several sharp turns. It is not recommended to cross the pass in rainy weather or at night, not to mention in winter.

Directly at the top of the pass, we are greeted by the ruins of an old Soviet tourist center or restaurant, and a small modern tourist and recreation complex "Nimchych" is spread around. There is a ski complex with several ski lifts, gazebos for rest, a souvenir market, and many interesting and instructive stands with tourist and local history information about the Hutsul region and Bukovyna. The crest of the ridge is covered with forest mixed with meadows, offering magnificent views of the Cheremosh valley. From the Nimchych Pass, several hours of hiking routes begin to the north - to Dovbush's cave, and to the south - to the rocks of Protyate Kamenia and Bukovyna waterfalls.

In winter, the Nimchych Pass is a ski resort with snow-covered slopes where you can go sledding, skiing, snowboarding, horseback riding, snowmobiling, and riding authentic Hutsul grindjols. In the summer, you can go hiking, biking, water routes, go mountaineering, and truly appreciate the majesty of the peaks and the immensity of the meadows by flying a paraglider. In recent decades, the steep and steep roads of the pass have hosted some stages of the Ukrainian Rally Championship, as well as the Oleksandriv Rally and enduro motorcycle competitions. There is a European-level hotel, a restaurant serving national cuisine, two 400- and 500-meter-long drag lifts and one multi-lift, as well as three trails of various lengths (800 m, 400 m, 150 m) with slope differences of 90 m. The resort also offers bus and walking tours of the unique corners of the Carpathian Mountains, rafting on the Carpathian rivers, professional ski coaches, all-terrain vehicle and mountain bike rides, paintball, and many other activities.

However, it's not skiing and relaxing in comfortable rooms that attract true nature lovers to the pass. First and foremost, Nimchych offers unique panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and the Cheremosh valley. Verkhorichchia Mountain (834 m) rises above Vyzhenka in the north, Prosichka (913 m) in the south, the Bankiv Ridge (the highest point is 870.7 m) in the east, and the Hutsul village of Roztoky in the narrow valley of Cheremosh, behind which the Galician hills are visible.

Nimchych (another name is Turetska Vershid ) is a pass in the Pokutsko-Bukovyna Carpathians. It is located on the border of the Putyla and Vyzhnytsia districts of the Chernivtsi region and is the watershed of the Vyzhenka and Cheremosh rivers.

The Nimchych Pass (586 m) is one of the most picturesque places in the Bukovinian Carpathians, where the international tourist and entertainment complex of the same name is located. It offers a magnificent view of the mountain valley through which the turbulent Cheremosh flows. The slopes are steep, so the road is serpentine with many turns. Along the road there are fascinating wooden sculptures of fairy-tale forest inhabitants made by the famous master of root plastic Yurii Pauchek. Near the pass, there are outlets of ferrous mineral water, and picturesque waterfalls on mountain rivers. Lowland forest landscapes with spruce-fir and beech forests are common.

Already in our time, the restaurant "Chervona Ruta" was built here. From numerous information stands we learn that at one time the pass was visited by: Ivan Franko and Lesya Ukrainka, Yuriy Fedkovych and Danylo Kharoviuk, the last Russian emperor Nicholas II, General Denikin, and even Vasyl Chapaev. Lesya Ukrainka described her visit in July 1901 as follows: "Once we drove high up Mount Nimchych and saw from there at sunset something as beautiful and silver as a dream, they say it is called Rostoky..."

Not far from the pass are the most interesting natural monuments of the Bukovyna Carpathians: the amazing rock formations Sokoline Oko and Protyate Kamenia; the cave of Oleksa Dovbush, a brave national leader of the 30s and 40s of the 18th century. They are simple and accessible to anyone who is at least a little familiar with the area.

On the Nimchych Pass, there is the tallest Easter egg in the Carpathians. It is 6 meters 80 centimeters high. There are several large Easter eggs on the Nimchych Pass. Among them is the largest in the Carpathians. Tourists like to take pictures near the Easter eggs painted with Hutsul ornaments. There are several Easter eggs made of thick material and painted by artists on this hill. But the tallest one is the most impressive - it is 6 meters 80 centimeters high.

The northeastern slopes of the pass are located within the Vyzhnytsia National Nature Park.

The nearest settlements are Vyzhenka and Khorovy.
