The free Cossack spirit never knew peace — neither in battles nor in festivities. After seeing the world and chopping the enemy to their heart's content, the Zaporozhian Cossacks plunged into entertainment with equal enthusiasm. The Cossacks knew how to leave their last shirt with the innkeepers, and they also knew how to welcome guests. From time to time, Cossack courtyards appeared on our lands. They were established by glorious daredevils to host their brothers and raise a glass for the times of warfare. Each courtyard had its own story and fate, but they were all united by the character of freedom and love for their native lands.
As time passed, courtyards began to welcome all who desired. Savoring Cossack dishes and drinks, guests left the courtyards with a slight hangover and a desire to return again. On the site of one of these ancient courtyards stands our recreation complex and restaurant outside the city. For you, we have recreated the hospitable color of our ancestors and supplemented it with the unchanging attributes of modern countryside recreation.
