Ethnographic Museum of Hutsul Antiquities, Kryvorivnia

The Ethnographic Museum of Hutsul Antiquities is a private museum of Yaroslav Zelenchuk located in the picturesque village of Kryvorivnia. The museum is interesting for its informative and loving excursions, a large collection of ancient things, antiquities that are carefully and orderly collected on the museum's shelves. Here you will find a large collection of ancient things that are carefully organized and collected on the shelves of the storage. At the opening of the museum, an exact copy of the unique Hutsul woman Chukutykha's pipe was presented, whose photo won the Grand Prix at an exhibition in Paris in 1931.

Also in the museum you will get acquainted with a collection of things from the First and Second World Wars, learn about the devastating impact of the wars on the socio-economic, cultural and spiritual life of the Hutsul region.

The Museum of Hutsul Antiquities introduces the activities of the inhabitants of the Hutsul Carpathians, which were formed on these lands due to natural and social conditions:

  • gathering
  • hunting and fishing
  • mountain meadow farming
  • wooden architecture and construction
  • mountain logging and timber processing
  • ceramic tableware from the times of Poland and the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Kosiv ceramics and local pottery.

Opening hours: The Ethnographic Museum is open by appointment.

Entrance fees: For adults - 20 UAH. For children - 15 UAH.

Guided tours: individual - 100 UAH, group - 15 UAH per person, for children's groups - 15 UAH per person. Cost and opening hours are subject to change.
