Mount Velyka Syvulia (or simply - Syvulia) is the highest peak of the Horhan massif. Its height is 1836 meters. Syvulya is located on the ridge of the same name, which separates the valleys of the Limnytsia and Bystrytsia Solotvynska rivers.

Syvulia, like Mount Igrovets, Mount Vysoka, Mount Mala Syvulia, Mount Grofa and other mountain peaks of the mountain range, is completely covered with huge placers of greenish-yellow stones, abundantly overgrown with moss and lichen.

A little lower down, the mountain is covered with dense, dense spruce and beech and spruce forests, which can be very scary to walk through, because there are places here (and this is in the twenty-first century) where no human foot has ever set foot. Well, the presence of fresh tracks of wild animals excites the imagination even more...

In some places on the slopes of Syvuli there are traces of avalanches, as evidenced by the fallen trunks of centuries-old trees. Sometimes it seems as if the mighty giants are "combed" with a huge comb.

There are three routes to climb Velyka Syvula: from Osmoloda, Bystrytsia, and Huta. Each trail is marked - from the trailhead to the very top (the markings are systematically updated, which is good news), and there are information boards along the marked route that show the distance to the nearest peaks and villages.

A hike to Velyka Syvula will definitely be remembered and, of course, will bring a lot of good impressions. Indeed, there is a lot to see here. The only thing that experienced tourists recommend is that in order to get a lot of pleasure from the hike, you should plan your route very carefully before starting it: choose the starting and finishing points and the best trails.
