In the center of the village of Strymba, opposite the medical center, there is a wooden church of St. Nicholas. It is made almost entirely of tin and attracts the eyes of curious passers-by. Not very old, but far from new, the dating of the church is a bit different. Nevertheless, well preserved, the church still receives parishioners and helps all those in need.

There is a version that the church was built in 1840, and there are assumptions about 1908-1910 and even 1924. But most likely, the first date indicates the construction of a wooden church, and the latter tells us the time of restoration of the building after the destruction during the First World War.

The church keeps the holy iconostasis. The first iconostasis was made by Vasyl Turchyniak in the period from 1910 to 1934, but after that it was updated, and now the church has a modern iconostasis. The church itself is used by the UGCC (Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church) community.

The old church in Strymba is located on a slope terrace to the west of the main road. Due to the special conditions of its location, the builders once oriented its altar to the south. The church is a three-story one-story building with a rectangular nave rather than the usual square one.

It is adjoined to the north by a narrow square narthex, and to the south by the same altar, to which the sacristy is attached to the east. Side entrance to the church from the east to the nave.

A small wooden three-tiered bell tower covered with a four-pitched roof is located to the south of the church. The third tier of the bell tower is very interesting.

The center of Strymba village is decorated with a nice Greek Catholic Church of St. Nicholas. It is located on a hill terrace, on the west side of the main road. It is impossible not to see it - such beauty catches the eye from afar.
