The small urban-type settlement of Vorokhta has wonderful picturesque corners. The entire area is surrounded by mountains, and the buildings themselves are buried in dense greenery in the warm season. Here are the most convenient ways to climb the highest mountain in the Carpathians - Hoverla. The village has a rich history and its own flavor.

The local history and local lore museum, which was opened in 2006, allows you to get to know this region better. It is located in the building that used to house the House of Culture. A significant part of the exhibits relates to the life of the famous Galician politician Stepan Fedak, whose fate was closely connected with the village.

The museum's collection highlights the historical epochs of the village and reveals the peculiarities of its culture and architecture. Vorokhta is the cradle of the Opryshko movement. Exhibits related to this period in the history of the village are presented here. The museum's expositions are dedicated to the religious beliefs of local residents, sports hobbies, tourist services, industrial development and prominent personalities of Vorokhta.
