Mount Kamyanka is a 1578-meter peak in the Ukrainian Carpathians that beckons everyone who wants to be in harmony with nature, see its beauty from above, assess their strength during the climb, and perhaps test their friend's fortitude.

Kamyanka is located within the Mizhhirya district of Zakarpattia region, north of the village of Synevyr and southwest of the village of Synevyrska Polyana.

The most popular route to Mount Kamyanka is the village of Mizhhirya - Khr. Kichera - Synevyr pass - Mt. Kamyanka - Mt. Ozerna - Lake Synevyr, or in the opposite direction.

As with many other Carpathian peaks, there is an interesting legend about Mount Kamyanka.

Long ago, in the days when the Lower Synevyr was a forested area, robbers settled in these parts, robbing towns, villages, rich owners and even churches. The robbers left the captured cattle to graze at the foot of the mountain, and that's where they lived. It was impossible to get to the top of the mountain; the stones were constantly falling off and blocking the approach to the crypts and caves where the looted valuables were kept.

Once the mountain crumbled, burying all the treasures of the robbers under the rock. The villains were forced to change their place of residence, and the loot remained buried in the massif of Kamianka Mountain. Residents of the Synevyr valley said that on Good Friday a flame always rose at this place. It was believed that evil spirits expressed their indignation in this way...

Once a shepherd got lost at the foot of Kamianka. He saw an old man with horse hooves instead of feet, who led him deep into the caves and showed him the countless treasures of Kamianka. The old man told the shepherd that the treasures would go to the one who could build a temple on top of the mountain...
