Ethno parks & homesteads
Ethno parks and homesteads with folk programmes
A Carpathian ethno park is a living homestead where you don’t just look at old houses but experience Hutsul or Boyko everyday life: hear the trembita horn, hold old tools in your hands, taste dishes from a clay oven, see farm animals and talk to the hosts.
These places suit family trips well: many offer workshops, folk shows, horse rides, petting zoos and playgrounds. Some homesteads also take overnight guests, so you can combine the folk programme with a stay in the mountains.
Tip: programmes and prices depend on the season and the size of the group. Check the schedule by phone before you go and book group tours in advance.
