The current district house of culture in Dolyna used to be the Sokil Polish sports society, which boasted a large theater hall. It was home to amateur groups where Polish children showed their talents. Cultural life was in full swing in the Sokol.

In 1899, the construction of the Sokol sports society building began in the old part of Dolyna . Later, in the 1930s, Ukrainians built their own building, the "Brotherhood House," near the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, where amateur groups for Ukrainians were held. In 1913, a substantial amount of money was invested in Dolyna to develop the town's culture. A room was built at the Sokil house to install projectors for the large hall.

The stone house resembles the letter "L" in plan. Part of the house is two-story. The roof is a ball-shaped, tiled, complex configuration. The windows of the house have a lancet ending. The entrance is accentuated by a tetrahedral tower with narrow and tall windows. The house has been reconstructed and extended several times, but the main and side facades remain original and are in good condition.

Ukrainian culture has always been and continues to be an important element of the social and spiritual life of Dolyna, and its dedicated and talented employees cherish the traditions of the Ukrainian people's spirituality and strive to multiply them every day. Today, the residents of Dolyna have a concert hall, a hall for dancing and choral singing, a methodological room, a costume room, etc.

The cozy town of Dolyna is located in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. Now the house of culture, formerly the building of the Sokil Society, is located at 8 Pachovskoho Street. Nearby, it is worth visiting the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
