The Ustianovych estate-museum

A beautiful museum in a beautiful location, an expectedly interesting place. There is a wonderful church nearby. The museum was opened on September 29, 1991 as a branch of the National Museum in Lviv. The museum is located in a former plebeian hut, a service room for the priests of the local church. It was here that Kornylo Ustianovych, a famous Ukrainian artist and public figure, was born. The museum's grounds - a 1-hectare old garden with fruit trees and fragrant flowers - create a special atmosphere.
The well in the museum's yard is the deepest in the village. For the past 5 years, the museum has been hosting international volunteer camps and various plein airs, educational programs, scientific events, creative meetings, and art projects. The Svitlytsia, a part of the former barn, is a space for exhibitions, creative meetings, and conferences. A special atmosphere of the museum is the kitchen with an ancient stove - a place where you can drink tea and bake an apple from the local garden. The museum's exposition can be divided into three parts: the first one is dedicated to Mykola Ustianovych; the second one presents materials about Kornil Ustianovych; materials that tell about the activities of František Rzegorz, a Czech ethnographer.
