The village of Andriivka is home to about 300 people. It is located on the Stara River, 4 km from the Kyiv-Chop highway. The village was first mentioned before 1417 in the charters of donation under the names "Andreaswagas" and "Andrasocz". It was founded by the scholtais András (Andrew). Andriivka belonged to the Serednyansky noble domain. In 1599, there were 16 serf households in the village. In 1603, the village had houses of Orthodox priests and the house of a sholtais (in the Middle Ages, the head of a village or settlement in Central and Eastern Europe, who ruled the village and collected taxes for the king or lord).
Eighteenth-century sources consider Andriivka to be a Russian (Ukrainian) village. Its former names were Andrashivtsi and Andriivtsi. The once famous Andriyivske Lake of the same name is located 3 km from the village. But in recent years, the territory of the lake, the adjacent forest and the lawn began to become polluted and the locals lost interest in it.
Now, there is a modern recreation area near the village, where Vietnamese wild boars and horses of the rare Hutsulyk breed are bred on the farm.
