Do you want to see the eighth wonder of the world? It is located in Ukraine between the villages of Yavoriv, Snidavka and Bukovets, on the southern slope of Mount Ternoshora (989.9 meters above sea level). The unique rock complex Ternoshora Lada is located on the territory of the Hutsulshchyna Regional Landscape Park, among the centuries-old fir trees. There are many botanical Carpathian endemics here. For example, on the very top of Mount Ternoshora, a rare steppe grass, sawdust, grows. Beautiful flowers - wild crocuses bloom twice a year: in early spring and in November.

Not far from it, at a distance of 1.5 km, on one of the streams that flows into the Bezulka, among the monolithic blocks of sandstone, there is a picturesque waterfall Ternoshorskyi Huk (3 m high, block type), and a small hydrogen sulfide spring with a characteristic smell. The stream near the waterfall has an oval-shaped erosion pit measuring 2x4 m and about 1.5 m deep, where you can cool off in the summer heat.

Some scientists believe that this is a creation of Mother Nature, which was formed at the bottom of the Sarmatian Sea during the Deep Paleolithic period. Others suggest that about 40 thousand years ago, ancient people made a sanctuary for themselves here. In any case, it is for its resemblance to Paleolithic figures depicting the female goddess Lada that the hill got its name. It is striking that the resemblance is indeed very great.

According to scientists, Ternoshorsk Lada is an ancient sanctuary. According to the research of Prof. Mykola Kuhutyak, the sanctuary consists of four rock complexes, namely: 1) a stone circle; 2) a phallic stone and chthonic foot-and-mouth disease; 3) an anthropomorphic figure; 4) bowl stones, symbols, and zoomorphic images.

Supporters of the latter theory conducted the latest study in 2007. They calculated that the approximate weight of the stone statue rock is more than 100 tons, and its height is 10.4 meters. It is assumed that the eight-ton head of the "goddess" was made of a different kind of stone and fixed on special supports.

Scientists have even stated that the ancient sculptor must have been about 190 centimeters tall. Whether this is true or not remains to be seen. And all visitors to this mysterious place have the opportunity to see with their own eyes Ternoshorskaya Lada and imagine themselves in the role of a master of stone work.

Since ancient times, people worshiped various statues and pagan rites, which we know not only from books, but also from the stories of our great ancestors. Some of the pre-Christian rituals were inherited by our parents. We believe in the magical power of certain rituals with a living fire, with living water, we believe in the power of positive or even negative energy flows to certain places, he writes. Today, more than ever, people go to the mountains for healing, with faith in overcoming illnesses or for the fulfillment of their deepest desires, one of which is to become a mother.

The local population calls these rocks "Dovbush's Head," and many people have gone, and some still go, to these rocks to see Dovbush's head. But, in fact, this stone block, which is known in a narrow circle of historians as the Ternoshory Lada, is an ancient image of a pregnant woman that fits the canonical proto-image of the Great Mother, without a clear face, but with the outline of a torso and a right hand covering her belly.

The tourist site of Ternoshory has become so popular thanks to tourists, especially foreigners, who are increasingly coming to the Carpathians and want to visit the Goddess of Peace. The Ternoshory Lada has been found to have characteristic similarities with the ceramic Venus of Vestonice found in Moravia (Eastern Czech Republic), the Venus of Willendorf found in Austria but made of limestone, which is not found in these parts, and the Moravian Venus from Slovakia, made of mammoth bone. All these finds date back to 25-15 thousand years BC. The era in question, 25 thousand years before Christ, has its own name, Borea, which means sunny, strong, and fierce. Despite the thousands of years and kilometers that separate their births, all the figures have common features: an indistinct head with a fuzzy face, massive breasts, and a massive belly. They are all 10 to 11 meters tall. There is an energy connection between them.

Nowadays, many people are convinced that the Goddess Lada has extraordinary power. Married couples who have been unable to have children for many years come to Ternoshorskaya Lada. Having tried almost all methods, they decided to ask the Great Mother for help, and she heard them. A person's faith is a great power.

People go to her for the fulfillment of their hopes, for positive things. You can drive to it on an extreme mountain road, but the best way is to walk from the village of Bukovets. The route is not difficult, but it allows you to enjoy beautiful and impressive views. Travel through the mountains, recharge your batteries with healthy energy and have a lot of fun and joy. From a distance, you will see a head carved out of stone and placed on a block of rock. To keep the figure securely in place, it is supported by three carved legs. Ancient sculptors made the statue so complicated in order to achieve the canonical size of 10.4 meters, which translated into Borean units of length was 21 cubits. The number 21 was considered magical: 7 is harmony, order, and its tripling brings fullness of harmony, perfection, and completeness.

A few meters from this tall stone is an abandoned hut. If you want to feel the adrenaline in your blood and see beautiful views from the high rocks, you should climb them. Of course, it is better to do this with insurance and climbing equipment, but in dry weather you can do without it.

"The Ternoshory tract has been a forest reserve of local importance since July 15, 1996, and has the form of an elongated mountain slope with a total area of 10 hectares.
