The Mizunwaterfalls near Novyi Mizun are three cascades three meters high. All the waterfalls are completely different: narrow, wide, gentle, steep, large, or even miniature. In late December and early January, the river freezes, so it is unlikely to enjoy the beauty of this natural wonder during this period. You can get a good view of the Mizun waterfalls from the window of the Carpathian tram. Its route runs along the Mizunka River. It is especially pleasant to relax here in the summer, when the river is cool and you can hide from the hot sun in the shade.

In the Soviet post-war period, geologists discovered mineral water springs of the Naftusia type near the village, and later sanatoriums of the Vyhoda Timber Plant and the Kalush Karpatnaftomash plant were built in Novyi Mizun. The Mizunka River flows through the village, and a narrow-gauge railroad has been built from Vyhoda to Mount Magura. The picturesque mountainous area still attracts tourists today.

One of the best sources of mineral water in Ivano-Frankivsk region, the Mizunsky Goryanka Spring , is located in the village. Mizun LLC (Mineral Water Plant) is one of the largest enterprises in the village. The plant produces bottled water "Karpatska Voda" for the supermarket chain. Goryanka mineral water has healing properties and is considered one of the best mineral waters in Ivano-Frankivsk region. The water from the spring, which comes from a depth of 156 meters, is considered identical in composition to Naftusia. The water from the spring is useful for treating stomach ulcers, and its parameters are close to human intracellular water. The Mizunsky spring "Goryanka" is often visited by tourists traveling by the Carpathian tram.
